Midsummer

Midsummer collection based on a sophisticated representation of fairies and folklore in literature, such as in Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” Fairies are a visual representation of movement throughout the story by their eclectic dancing and enthusiastic twirling, this is replicated in Midsummer. Tiered layers of lightweight, silky fabrics create a dynamic flow to make the wearer appear as if they are floating. The contrast of elastic smocking throughout the collection grounds the effortless layers, yet still gives plenty of ease to dance around the forest. Each look is entirely composed of separates to allow for creative experimentation with mixing and matching both within the collection and inside one's personal closet. Midsummer is designed to collide the youthful inner voice with the fully bloomed personality of adults and let their imaginations run wild with the endless possibilities of ideas proposed by Midsummer.
